Easy Chicken Macaroni




INGREDIENTS:

Boneless Chicken - 200g  (cut into small pieces)


TO MARINATE:



    • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
    • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
    • Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
    • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
    • Vinegar - 1 tsp or lemon - 1 tsp
    • Salt

FOR MACARONI:



    • Macaroni - 2 cup
    • Oil
    • Onion - 1 ½
    • Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp
    • green chilly - 6 (according to your taste)
    • tomato - 1
    • Capsicum -1 cup
    • salt -to taste
    • Garam masala - 1 ½  tsp
    • Pepper powder - ½  tsp

METHOD:

    1. In a deep non-stick pan, boil enough water. Add macaroni, few drops of oil and salt. Cook until macaroni is cooked (for about 8 minutes). 
    2. Once the macaroni is cooked, drain it from the hot water and run it under normal water immediately.
    3.  Drain the water and drizzle a bit of oil to prevent it from sticking to each other. Keep the macaroni aside.
    4. Mix all the ingredients mentioned under to marinate along with 2 tbsp of water to make a thick paste.
    5. Marinate the chicken properly with the above mix and keep aside for 20-30 minutes.
    6. In a pan, heat oil and fry the chicken pieces until the chicken is well cooked. Transfer the chicken to another bowl.
    7. To the same pan, add chopped onions, green chilly, and a little salt. Saute till the onions become transparent.
    8. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 1-2 mins.
    9. Add chopped tomatoes, capsicum,garam masala, pepper powder and give it a good mix. Check the salt and cook for 4 minutes. 
    10. Now add the cooked macaronichicken and mix well. Cover for another 3 minutes.
TIPS:
  • You can also add veggies like carrot, beans, etc according to your preference.
