Fruit Custard

INGREDIENTS:

    • Custard powder - 2 tbsp
    • Milk - 2 cups
    • Sugar - 2 tbsp 
    • Mango - ¼ cup
    • Pomegranate - ¼ cup
    • Banana - ¼ cup

METHOD:

TO PREPARE CUSTARD:

    1. In a saucepan, heat 1 ½ cup of milk.
    2. When it comes to boil, add sugar.
    3. Stir until it dissolves.
    4. Meanwhile, take a bowl and add custard powder.
    5. To that, add ½ cup of milk.
    6. Stir very well with a whisk/fork to make a smooth paste without any lumps.
    7. Add this mix to the boiling milk. Stir quickly so that lumps are not formed.
    8. Keep stirring and cook until the custard turns thick.
    9.  Allow the custard to cool at room temperature.
    10.  keep the custard in the refrigerator to chill it before adding the fruits.

TO SERVE FRUIT CUSTARD:

    1. Chop all the fruits into small pieces.
    2. Whisk the custard before serving.
    3. Take a serving cup, add the chopped fruits.
    4. Add the custard over it.
    5. Mix well and again chill it in the refrigerator and serve chilled.

TIPS:

    •  You can add any fruits like apple, pineapple, grapes, blueberry, etc. as per the availability and your choice.
    • You can also top up with some dry fruits.
