INGREDIENTS:
FOR COOKING MUTTON:
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Salt
- Chilli powder - 2 tsp
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Green chili paste - 1 tsp
- Water
FOR ROASTING:
- Coconut oil
- Whole black peppercorns - 2 tbsp
- Onion - 2
- Capsicum - 1
- Shallots - 12
- Green chili - 2
- Curry leaves - 2 sprig
- Pepper powder - 2 - 3 tbsp
METHOD:
FOR COOKING:
- In a pressure cooker, add mutton, along with all ingredients mentioned under "cooking mutton".
- Let it cook for about 5-6 whistles or till the mutton becomes soft and tender.
FOR ROASTING:
- In a pan, heat coconut oil and add Whole black peppercorns.
- Add onion and shallots. Saute till they become transparent.
- Add green chili, capsicum and curry leaves. Saute well.
- Add cooked mutton without stock.
- Add pepper powder and saute well. Serve hot!
