INGREDIENTS:
- Raw rice - 2 glass
- Cooked rice - 1 cup
- Coconut - 1 ½ cup
- Yeast - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Water
COMBINATION:
- Coconut milk
- Cardamon
- Small banana
- Sugar
METHOD:
- Soak raw rice for about 6-8 hours.
- In a blender, add soaked raw rice, cooked rice, coconut, and water. Grind well.
- To that add yeast and sugar. Grind to dosa consistency.
- Pour it in a bowl and let it rise.
- In a steamer, grease and pour the batter and steam it.
COMBINATION:
- In a bowl take coconut milk, cardamom, and sugar.
- To that add mashed bananas.
- Serve this with vella pola.
TIPS:
- You can grind with coconut water for better taste.
- In case you are short of cooked rice, you can add a handful of beaten rice.
