INGREDIENTS:
- Onion - 2
- Maida - 4 tbsp
- Corn flour - 2 tbsp
- Rice flour - 1 tbsp
- Chilli powder - 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Water
- Breadcrumbs
- Oil - for frying
METHOD:
- Cut the onions into 1/2 cm slices and separate into rings.
- In a bowl add maida, cornflour, rice flour, chili powder, ginger - garlic paste, salt, and pepper powder. Gradually add water and whisk until smooth and thick.
- Dip onion rings in the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs. Repeat with all the rings.
- In a pan, heat oil.
- Fry onion ring in batches until golden and crisp.
- Transfer to a paper towel to drain. Serve hot.
