Italian Pasta | White Sauce Pasta

INGREDIENTS:

FOR MACARONI:

  • Macaroni - 1 cup
  • Water - 2-3 cup
  • Oil 
  • Salt

MASALA:

  • Butter - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 1 tbsp(chopped)
  • Onion - ¼ cup
  • Red cabbage - ¼ cup
  • Capsicum - ¼ cup
  • Broccoli -  ¼ cup
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Mozzarella cheese - ¼ cup
  • Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
  • Salt 

METHOD:

FOR COOKING MACARONI:

    1. In a deep non-stick pan, boil water. Add macaroni, few drops of oiland salt. Cook until macaroni is cooked (for about 8 minutes). 
    2. Once the macaroni is cooked, drain it from the hot water and run it under normal water immediately.
    3.  Drain the water and drizzle a bit of oil to prevent it from sticking to each other. Keep the macaroni aside.

FOR MASALA:

    1. In a pan, heat butter.
    2. Add garlic and onion. Saute well.
    3. Add all the vegetables.
    4. Once half cooked, add macaroni.
    5. To that add salt, pepper, and milk.
    6. Once the milk is reduced add grated mozzarella cheese.Serve!

TIPS:

  • You can add all veggies of your choice for 1 ½ cup. For eg: carrot, beans, spring onion, etc.
  • If you like it watery, don't reduce the milk too much.
