Ripe Jackfruit Fritters | Chakkapazham Pori

INGREDIENTS:

  • Jackfruit - 12-15 numbers

BATTER:

  • Maida (all-purpose flour) - 1 cup
  • Baking soda - a pinch
  • Sugar 
  • Water

METHOD:

    1. Remove seeds from jackfruit and cut it into 2 pieces
    2. In a bowl, add maida, baking soda, and sugar.
    3. Add water and make a thick paste.
    4. In a pan, heat oil.
    5. Once the oil is hot, dip each jackfruit in the batter and fry.
    6. Jackfruit fritters are ready. serve hot!

TIPS:

  • You can also use half cup maida and half cup atta.
  • You can also use only atta, which makes it much healthier.
