INGREDIENTS:
- Mutton - 500 g
- Garam masala - ½ tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
MARINATE:
- Onion - 2 (chopped)
- Tomato -2
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Green chili - 3
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Chilli powder - 3 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
SEASONING:
- Oil
- Curry leaves
- Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- Onion -1
METHOD:
- In a cooker, add the ingredients mentioned under "marinate" along with mutton thoroughly with hands.
- Squeeze to make sure that the tomato juice is out. Add ¼ cup of water.
- Let it cook for about 5-6 whistles or till the mutton becomes soft and tender.
- In a pan, heat oil, add curry leaves and splutter fennel seeds.
- Add onion and saute till it turns brown.
- Pour this seasoning into the cooker and add garam masala and pepper powder.
- Let it boil till the gravy reaches the required consistency.
TIPS:
- You
can vary the amount of chili and pepper powders to suit your spice level.
