Chilli Chicken kameera

INGREDIENTS:

KAMEERA:

  • Maida - 2 cup
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Salt 
  • Instant yeast -  1 tsp
  • Egg - 1
  • Lukewarm milk 

FILLING:

  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Green chili -3
  • Onion - 2
  • Capsicum - 1
  • Soya sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp
  • Red chili sauce - 1 tsp
  • Salt 
  • Pepper powder - ½ tbsp

MARINATION:

  • Chicken - 300 g
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala - ¼  tsp
  • Pepper powder - ½  tsp
  • Corn flour - 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce - 1 tsp
  • Salt 
  • Egg - 1

METHOD:

FOR FRYING:

    1. Cut the chicken into small pieces.
    2. In a bowl put all ingredients mentioned under "marination "and keep aside for 1 hour.
    3. Deep fry the marinated chicken pieces in a pan and keep aside.

FILLING:

    1. In a pan, heat oil.
    2. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
    3. Add onion, capsicum, and green chili. Saute for a minute.
    4. Now add soya sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, and salt.
    5. To this add the fried chicken and pepper powder. Mix well.

KAMEERA:

    1. In a bowl, add the ingredients mentioned under "kameera" and mix well. Now add lukewarm milk and knead to a soft and smooth dough. 
    2.  Close the lid and leave this aside for 2-3 hours. Let it rise.
    3. After that knead again. 
    4. Now make small balls using the dough. Close and keep aside for 10 minutes.
    5. Dip the ball in maida paste and then in breadcrumbs.
    6. In a pan, heat oil.
    7.  Fry it in low to medium flame so that it gets cooked inside.


TO PREPARE:

    1. Cut the fried kameera bread into half in such a way that it is not separated.
    2. Fill it with chicken fillings and serve !.

TIPS:

  • You can skip red chili sauce if you don't prefer spicy.
  • If you are using dry yeast : 
    1. In a small bowl, add warm water, sugar, and dry yeast. Give a quick mix.
    2. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes or till it becomes frothy.
    3. Now add this to the maida.
