Kerala Style Easy Pepper Chicken
INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken - 500 g
- Dry red chili - 2-3 numbers
- Curry leaves - 2 sprig
- Onions - 2
- Whole black peppercorns - 2 tbsp
- Pepper powder - 2-3 tbsp
- Garlic - 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Coconut oil
- Garam masala - a pinch
METHOD:
- In a pressure cooker, add coconut oil.
- Add dry red chilies, curry leaves, and whole black peppercorns.
- Add onion and garlic. Saute well.
- Add chicken, pepper powder and salt. Mix well.
- Let it cook for about 2-3 whistles or till the chicken becomes soft
and tender.
- After the pressure is released. Open the cooker.
- Add garam masala and reduce the gravy to make it thick. serve hot!
TIPS:
- If you want a little more gravy, add one tomato before closing the cooker.
