INGREDIENTS:
- Boiled potatoes - 1 cup
- Onion - ½ (chopped)
- Green chili - 1 (chopped)
- Rice powder - 2-3 tbsp
- Corn flour - 2 tbsp
- Salt
- Cumin seed - ¼ tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - ¼ tsp
- Garam masala - ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Breadcrumbs - 6 tbsp
- Coriander leaves (chopped)
- Curry leaves (chopped)
METHOD:
- In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes.
- To that, add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Grease hands and prepare a soft dough.
- Keep this dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Now make donut shape using the dough.
- In a pan, heat oil.
- Deep fry the potato donuts.
TIPS:
- For breadcrumbs: tear the bread into small pieces and pulse 2-3 times in a mixer or food processor.
- Your measurements of cornflour and breadcrumbs may vary according to the potatoes you use.
- Make sure the dough is not sticky. If it is sticky then add and adjust the breadcrumbs and cornflour accordingly.
