Al Faham Chicken in Pan

INGREDIENTS:

MARINATION:

  • Chicken - 1 kg
  • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  • Curd - 2 tbsp
  • Garlic - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Pepper - 1 tbsp
  • Salt

TO ROAST:

  • Coriander seed - 1 ½ tsp
  • Dry red chili - 6 numbers
  • Fennel seed - ½  tsp
  • Cumin seed - 1 tsp

TO GRIND:

  • Tomato ½ 
  • Onion ½ 
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Green chili - 5 numbers
  • Coriander leaves
  • Garam masala - ½ tsp

METHOD:

    1. In a large bowl, Marinate chicken using the ingredients mentioned under "marination" and keep aside for 30 minutes.
    2. In a pan, add the ingredients mentioned under "to roast " and roast for a min.
    3. After it has cool down. Add this in a mixer grinder along with the ingredients mentioned under " to grind" and grind well.
    4. Now, in the marinated chicken apply the grounded masala and keep it for at least 6 hours in the fridge.
    5. In a pan, add one drop of oil and add chicken. Keep in high flame for 3 minutes, and continue frying for 15 minutes in low flame. (Don't forget to flip in between).Off the flame.
    6. Now, take a small piece of charcoal and heat it in a flame
    7. In a small steel bowl, pour oil and keep the warmed charcoal in the middle of the fried chicken, close the pan quickly.

TIPS:

  • If you don't have coriander seeds, you may use coriander powder while grinding.
